ILADEF Physician Training Program

In addition to public and continuing education presentations, Dr. Chesney trains medical providers through the ILADEF Physician Training Program, a one-on-one mentorship designed to equip qualified clinicians with the tools needed to diagnose and treat patients with Lyme disease and vector-borne infections.

This program provides:
  • A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment of Lyme and associated diseases
  • Practical guidance on addressing real-world diagnostic and therapeutic challenges
  • Experience with diverse and subtle presentations of vector-borne disease in a clinical setting

Participants leave the training with:
  • Enhanced clinical skills
  • An integrated, nuanced approach to directing treatment
  • Confidence in diagnosis and treatment

The ILADEF program is tailored to meet the educational needs of each participant, regardless of their current level of expertise.

Training with Dr. Chesney is offered virtually. She works with patients experiencing both acute and chronic presentations, utilizing pharmaceutical and natural therapies in the treatment of vector-borne diseases. Her approach includes emerging therapeutics such as dapsone, disulfiram, primaquine, and methylene blue. In addition, she frequently supports patients with coexisting conditions such as mycotoxicity, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), dysautonomia, and other complex chronic illnesses. Dr. Chesney is dedicated to uncovering root causes of illness and providing holistic, patient-centered care.
