Tell the VT Dept of Health: Lyme disease is a priority for health care in Vermont
The Vermont Department of Health is asking for public input to set health care priorities for the next 10 years. Lyme disease is NOT on the list. As you know, the incidence of Lyme disease is growing in Vermont. It is essential that the Dept of Health gives Lyme disease the attention it deserves in order to provide better prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease in Vermont.
Go to the following website www.healthvermont.gov/pubs/hv2020/, scroll down to "Comments on draft goals and objectives", click on "contact form", place "HV2020 Comments" in the subject line and request that Lyme disease should be a priority in healthcare over the next 10 years in your message. Comments are accepted until August 31st!
